My book, 121 First Dates: How to Succeed at Online Dating, Fall in Love and Live Happily Ever After (Really!) has been optioned for a television series. And it’s getting love from Access Hollywood, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Self, and more. I went on 121 first dates so you don’t have to. It’s the “anti-rules” dating book every single woman needs. Practical wisdom coupled with short stories of my favorite (and disastrous) dating adventures, 121 First Dates was written specifically for women, and is published by Simon & Schuster. You can buy it here.
This is who I retired my favorite, lucky dating scarf for back in February 2013, first date #121. We have created a life for ourselves that is by design, unconventional, and totally amazing. We’re adorable, right? –>
Over the past nineteen years both as a workshop leader, and in my personal dating life, I have interviewed thousands of men on women, sex, dating, and relationships. I’ve conducted polls, had intimate one-on-one discussions, and have witnessed hundreds of panels made up of men speaking on these topics. Add to that extensive research, input from varied outside sources, and a good old-fashioned trial-and-error approach to sex, relationships and love, and you get me: someone with a broad base of knowledge in the area of partnership who’s full to bursting to share with you.
Committed to communication and to people being heard and understood, I pursued my higher education at Vista College in Berkeley with a certificate in American Sign Language and Deaf Culture Studies (it only took six years).
I celebrate those emboldened to live their truth. I’m an advocate for love, LGBTQ rights, open relationships, polyamory, and kink communities, and anything else out there that empowers folx to live their best lives.
People who work with me say I’m clear, compassionate, humorous, and unafraid to be myself.
Thanks for getting to know me! Now, how can I help you?
